I was originally going to make the demanded sum a 100 yen coin, but I figured no one would get the reference to the coin shortage the original “Space Invaders” arcade game caused in Japan.

I am obsessed the character designs from the original “Mario Bros.” arcade cabinet. I lament that with each passing year Mario becomes less cartoonishly exaggerated, and more realistically proportioned.

Kind of a Direct interpretation, but I enjoyed giving Pac-Man bulky appendages.
